Iranian Gays have faced years of murder. Still, we cannot stand by and refuse to support the right of a people to live with dignity and freedom. Even when they deny that to our own kind.

With political freedom comes freedom of thought, and the chance for greater understanding and enlightenment - about not only gayness but all sorts of things. No such possibility can exist under a mind-controlling dictatorship, whether it be a religious or a political one.

Seems to me this revolution in Iran is basically about freedom and fairness. Those are always good things.
