That was my Mother's favorite painting, a woman of quiet honest Faith, and actions, tolerance, and service. It was The exact painting we had in my living room growing up, but it was much wider. The one I told you fell and the corner broke and my Dad had to paint in new moonlit clouds to fix the tear. I think My oldest sister, whom you know, has it hanging in her bedroom now. Thanx for taking me back there, as did our friends card earlier. Back to a place where my faith was simpler, more easily held.
So glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for all these Holy Week posts. They are personally timely.
I'm glad to hear that. It's my little offering to God and struggling humanity, for whatever it may be worth.
