A 1940 offering that is a cut or two above the usual publicity film in artistry. If you don't have the time or inclination to watch the whole show, be sure not to miss the concluding parade of products beginning at about the 19:35 mark - a stunning masterpiece of stop-motion photography, and a little bit trippy too.

I feel drained, did the commentator pause for breath? I liked the last part, the spark plugs were gay! A Jam Handy production? Ohh err!
Yes, the whole parade was totally gay - I loved it.
Believe it or not, Jam Handy was a real person, an Olympic swimming medalist and quite a character:

I watched the whole thing. I miss the old family DeSoto. I also miss being able to work on my own car.
My dad kept his old '57 Fireflite so long, I was embarrassed to ride with him. I finally cajoled him into trading it in on a 1970 Plymouth. Now of course the Desoto - red and white two-tone paint job with red leather seats - would be worth major bucks.
One of my favorite shows is Mecum auto auction on the 'Velocity' channel. I have seen some beautiful cars roll across the auction block.
