Great Supine Protoplasmic Invertebrate Jellies!

My man Boris tells it like it is, as the London Assembly kicks him out of a meeting:

You go, buddy! He'll be Prime Minister one day, and a jolly good one too, I expect.

Boris is quite the character and the (relatively) new City Hall is a marvel.

I don't know anything about a new City Hall, will have to look that up. I do remember seeing when I was in London a grand curving Georgian edifice that was the city hall at that time, almost directly across the river from the Houses of Parliament. A marvelous sight. But then some years ago I read that the city had moved out and effectively abandoned it or something like that - never did understand why. Now they have probably spent half a billion dollars to build a new thing. Pity.

As an example of very modern architecture - it is exciting. With the relatively new development of the London Council (I don't know the precise term) they needed a new space as the former city hall was far too small for the large democratic assembly.

Thanks for sending me a pic of the new building via email. I'm sure its a very comfortable modern building inside, but the previous premises were more to my old-fashioned taste, architecturally.
