in Just-
spring when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame balloonman
whistles far and wee
and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it's
spring
when the world is puddle-wonderful
the queer
old balloonman whistles
far and wee
and bettyandisbel come dancing
from hop-scotch and jump-rope and
it's
spring
and
the
goat-footed
balloonMan whistles
far
and
wee

Well, it's a cold rainy, sometimes snowy day here. Pretty much the dreariest week we've had all winter...spring?
Yes, officially spring since 4:42 p.m. yesterday, they say. It's just now gotten up to 60 and it's sunny here, but the wind is cold. Should be up to 80 tomorrow. I had wondered if you all were getting blanketed with snow up there. Stay warm!
It's spring up north and we love every puddle wonderful moment of it.
Thanks for the poetry lessons. Always appreciated.
You're welcome. Spring has been coming on for some weeks here - the wisteria is in full bloom, high up in the pine trees in our neighborhood, and the sidewalks are covered with lavender petals just now.
