Bernie Responds: Stand Up and Fight Back
I couldn't watch the Tyrant's speech last night - it nauseated me. Bernie's response is golden. I might quibble over the nuances of some of his proposals, but he is holding up the torch of American democracy, and God bless him for that. Bernie is a great patriot, a real American, keeping hope alive.

I agree with his response. Funny how so many commenters from the other side don't see what is plainly in front of them. That to me is the major obstacle to changing the direction from oligarchy to democracy.
Yes, I saw a rethug yesterday from the boonies, carrying on about the Dems are filled with hate and want people to die. Clueless. But that's the cult mentality. You can't aruge them out of it. Not until they really, truly feel serious pain will they being to rethink their allegiance.
I agree totally with Bernie's main point, that the dictator and his billionaires have taken over and must be opposed. How to do that, exactly, remains to be seen.
I can't believe I have lived to see the end of democracy in America. I want to wake up from this nightmare! When we do get past these days of horror, I think the country will become a social democracy, as in Europe. The days of unregulated capitalism must end. Look at these big money boys selling the country down the river. Disgusting!
