Sir, I used to do the fox trot to this very same recording in the basement of our family home. It gave me more enjoyment than any 1960s music my contemporaries wanted to hear. What a rush. Thanks to you for bringing back so many memories of the music, dancing, dreaming, etc. love your blog

Glad you like. I grew up listening to my parents' old records too, and still enjoy that music very much.

I never imagined I'd be listening to my parents music but as I've become an oldtimer I now look forward to the big band show on our local classical/jazz radio.

They don't make 'em like that anymore. Where I used to live, there was an NPR station that had such a show every Saturday night for many years - it was a treat for me, too.
