Would you believe that at age 90, Herb Alpert is still touring around and blowing a horn? Wow. My truckbuddies of a certain age will recall that the TJB sound was the bright, breezy background to the 1960ts, the sound of youth having fun in the sun - at least, until everything turned ugly and went to pot. This CBS report catches us up on the man with the golden horn:

Had his albums (sold everything when we moved) and he was one of my favorites along with Sergio Mendes. I wish I was that Sharp now at 77. I applaud him.
Does horn blowing keep you young? I'm amazed he's still at it. Good for him. And rich as cream, too - look up in Wikipedia all his multi-million dollar donations to schools and colleges. I'm going to send you a YT video I think you will like.
