I never heard of the guy. You guys are much more tuned into pop culture than we are. We almost never watch shows like America's got Talent or the Voice except in passing or by default. Too bad the video sound is not great. Archuleta is a fairly common name in New Mexico.
He also just came out as gay a year or so ago, being raised in a devout Mormon household. Now he lives in Nashville and seems to be having the time of his life. Good for him!

M.P. is the one who is more tuned into pop culture and talent shows, not to mention ballet and opera.
