That was a memory jolt. Loved Herb Alpert & Tijuana Brass. He also introduced Sergio Mendes and Brazil '66 to the US - and they are one of my all time favorites. I think I have nearly every one of Mendes' early albums.

I always liked HA&TB too, and he had quite a long, successful career - nice to learn of his philanthropic activities at the far end of it.
