The roommate had me take this picture last night with the last of our champagne and the new hurricane lamp I gave him. He liked the way it turned out so well he said I should blog it. So here you go. Hope the year will be good for all of us; we have a lot to look forward to with a new president, a recuperating economy, and many other good and long-awaited changes.

Happy new year Russ! We do have a lot to look forward to. I feel really good about 2009, in spite of the cavalcade of doom in the news. I've got to stop listening to NPR so much =)
