Ike, shmike. Robert's Lafitte, a gay bar in Galveston, roared back into business almost as soon as the surge waters subsided on the day after the hurricane struck the island town. Now gays, straights, and just about everybody left in town is happily congregating there, enjoying some much needed disaster relief.
Favorite songstress at the bar these days? Tina Turner, of course . . . who also survived another Ike.
