Difficult to see, hear, read about this without shedding tears. So sick of this hate and violence and the refusal of lawmakers to end it, or at least get some control of guns. And for those who promote hate and violence to be sanctioned. I can go on....but enough.
The awful thing is, I am mentally sickened and outraged but tears won't come. My feelings are simply numb: a very sad comment on modern American life, where these *daily* massacres have overwhelmed our natural feelings.
It's so wrong, wrong, wrong: both the proliferation of guns (especially assault weapons) AND a culture that produces so many mass killers without a shred of conscience or remorse. In just my lifetime, we have gone from civilization to barbarism, it seems to me - and it just gets worse and worse.
I have more thoughts on this subject but no answers, so I'll stop right there.
Comments are welcome, but please note: this is not a public forum but my personal blog, which nobody is forced to read. You don't like what I write, go find a blog you do like; there are millions of others to choose from. Or write your own.
Polite disagreement is one thing, but rudeness will be deleted without hesitation.
