Wouldn't it be nice if, after the plague has receded, we finally got honest-to-God national healthcare coverage in this country? Not the Band-Aid of Obamacare, but the real thing.
Don't take no for an answer.

COVID-19 has exposed many critical weaknesses in our system of healthcare, safety nets, economy, food production and delivery and government. There will be many articles, editorials and books written, speeches and promises made, and calls for redistribution of wealth. "Wouldn't it be nice"...In any case, I'm afraid that after all is said and done, there will be pushback sufficient enough for nothing to change and we will be back to where we were or worse. Call me an optimist.
I'm as optimistic as you are. Still, it's a nice thought.
