The Pork Boys Do Easter, 2016

A few highlights from our little feast.  The menu:
  • Deviled eggs
  • Potato salad
  • Baked beans
  • Steamed cabbage with carrots, onions, bacon, and Ro-Tel tomatoes and peppers
  • Sweet Stuffed Piglets, actually braised pork loin sliced thin and wrapped around a stuffing of root vegetables spiced with cinnamon and sugar
  • Butter cross biscuits
  • White Zinfandel
  • Coffee with chicory, from Café du Monde in New Orleans
  • Tiramisu, made with pound cake, rum, Kahlua, coconut, chocolate bits, and whipped cream
It was lovely.  I tell you what.
