Being the worlds super power is a double edged sword. 50% of the time you want to do something, and the rest of the world will hate you for doing it. The other 50% of the time the rest of the world expects you do to something and you don't want to. Welcome to empire and dominion. it sucks doesn't it? This small insignificant island has been there, done it, but you cannot stand idly by, action, be it for better or worse has to be taken. By the way, which said small insignificant island helped out the Russians at great cost in men and materials during WWII with the arctic convoys when their backs were against the wall? Some folks have short memories.

Bingo, Mimi - you win the cake!
And Tim, you are so right about the double-edged sword, which cuts both ways.
