Very nice yellow rose, Russ. Seeing it on your blog reminds me of that song, "The Yellow Rose of Texas." Even us northern boys know that one!
Our roses got bitten hard by the unusually harsh winter this year, so I had to prune them back severely. They will be back and as nice as ever, but it will be a while.
That is a lovely rose. Despite living in Texas I don't have a lot of luck with yellow roses. In spring they will bloom but not much the rest of the season.

Good for you. "Yellow Rose of Texas" is one of my favorite songs, natch.
I don't really know anything about pruning roses, so I just let them grow as they will; they seem to do okay with that.
