I like this song a lot. Believe it or not Russ I think the first time I EVER heard it was when I watched "Angels in America" toward the end a group of Mormons were singing it on a street corner where Meryl Streep joins in with them.
You have to understand I was raised catholic (from which I'm still recovering from) and we never heard or sang songs like this. Thanks for this lovely tune.
I'm glad you like, Stan. It's almost true to say that these lovely old hymns are part of the landscape down here, the background of our culture.
